Heartbreak wudda Shudda Cudda

Yesterday at Bridgeport I lost a Wudda been my PB half way into my net. Guessing she was around 7. Shudda had my bigger net as I had my small net on board , Cudda made my day. Lesson learned, I gotta be better with the net. Y'all Pro's prolly tell me to lip em or flip em ?

No. Get better with the net. Once you know it's a big one. Keep the net right at hand. Practice on the smaller ones.

Sorry that happened to you bud. Wish I could have been there to offer some help. We had a good 3 days at Falcon; just no numbers. Partner caught a 11.7 and it just barely fit in the net; then the hook fell out.

Plus #1. It happens and will happen again. Sometimes you get em and sometimes you loose em!

Bite the bullet and buy a large net with an extendable handle. You are not going to net small fish so why buy a small net.

Sometimes you win and sometimes the fish wins. That's why we keep trying. It won't belong before we see you posting a big one.

You'll get another chance. About 12 years ago I lost my first double digit fish because my partner grabbed the line and tried to just lift the fish by the line instead of grabbing her lip. He nearly had to swim home that day. We're not friends anymore.
