How is Hubbard creek? I’ve never been and thinking of planning a trip this month to go out there.
Is it safe to run? Any timber, grass?
Thanks in advance.

I suggest you go at safe light due to the hydrilla all over the lake. There are some really big patches of it in certain spots but you can see it when light enough and calm. The islands north of the bridge are about 6ft under the water as of now. Stay towards the pump house side running north from the bridge.

12lbs won our club tourney last Saturday. Fishing is tough but water has cooled considerably.

you can pretty well predict where the grass will be by looking at your chart. Avoid water under 15' deep

Fished there Saturday and wore them out pretty good. Nothing huge but caught 50-60 on Carolina rigs, weightless soft plastics, topwaters, and crankbaits between two of us. Tons of grass. Got into some big 2-2.5lbs sandbass out there too. Most of the bass were 2-3lbs.
