Thats an awesome fish! Been on the lake 1 time. Wanted to go back but the water has been too low to make the trek from San Antonio. Lake back up again?

From 44 low to about 9 low so yea I’d say it’s up a little bit.

If you didn't go because of the low water. Big mistake. I'm kinda upset it came up

It was a big mistake, I’ve never really heard something that weird actually. Knew the water was low but didn’t know it came up 37 ft?
Congratulations Mr. Duncan on an excellent catch.

Re: Ivie toad - 10/07/19 01:23 PM
I’ve fished the lake several times when Jerry didn’t know how much longer the ramp would be usable. Had very few bad trips on that lake. Most water I’ve ever seen on the lake is about 5-6’ over the hump right off the river channel when leaving the elm creek launch. Now it has over 30’ over it.
Club is fishing there later this month. Can’t wait to see the lake, even if she fishes tough. Yes it will be way different, but the lake will be far better off in the years ahead.

It will be lights out in 4-5 years.
I’ve got nothing to prove. I don’t post pictures of my 13 pound fish. I caught three just last week.....

You still waiting a couple years before you fish the lake again?

I’ve been on it a few times over the last month, breaking my new boat in the right way. Until a few weeks ago it’s been over a year since I’ve been on it.
this lake is due to explode with big fish .Spring should be great !
