No More Chine Walking My Triton 21HP!

Finally fixed the issue with my 2012 Triton 21HP chine walking! I traded it in and got a 2020 Skeeter ZX225.

It seems like the default bass boat now is a Skeeter. To each their own, but of the ones I've been in, y'all can keep it. I'd opt for a Phoenix or Legend.

I understand entirely. I came out of a boat that was basically point and shoot and into a BassCat that is a handful on the top end.. The older I get the more I appreciate the simplicity of wind it up, trim it out and sip my coffee while I fly down the lake.

10 bucks says the engine was too low, I have had 3 Tritons that would bust 80, very little walk if any.

Chine is something that has kept me away from basscat. Makes me appreciate my slow ranger

Went from a Triton TR22 to a BCB Eyra. took me about 3 months to figure out the setup and now the boat runs 80mph with 1 hand and no chine walk. Its all about driving. Full tournament load and 2 people still pushing 76mph and stable as can be.

Your problem is, you bought way over your head. The HP is the boat all the pros ran; the guys that know how to drive boats. Trtiton made 21 footers that were meant for people like you. They were easy to drive, just not as fast. The HP is not made anymore, but I will hang on to my 2014 as long as it will start. I think it is the best boat Triton ever made.
Just because you couldn't drive it doesn't mean you need to bash the boat.

I promise you, no FX Skeeter will beat your guts out. Matter of fact, I'd put the ride of the FX and new FXR up against any boat/hull out there.
