Not much bass fishing chatter lately. Everyone still hiding under a shade tree? I keep looking at my weather app 10 day outlook praying to see high of 70 and overcast.

Seems like every time someone posts on here about going somewhere and catching fish they get slammed on here by people saying why would you post on here where you are catching fish you are going to ruin the lake.

Yep. That thread is going South 1,000 miles.

Slow for me.. seems to have been a really good shad hatch this year on Joe Pool.. inch and a half shad by the billions everywhere.. hard to fool them when they have that much food around, gonna try an A Rig next time out.

Topwater been very good to me last 3 times out on RR. One 3 on a C Rig after that.

Lavon was slow. Few on cranks. Only spent 3 hours out there.

I was thinking the same thing, not seeing alot of bass catching talk. I have been trying to get ready, just been too darn hot. Put together some (new to me) ned rig stuff got a new TFO rod and plan a trip to BP to look at a St Croix. So what would you guys be throwing in a late summer/fall transition? What air/water temps trigger the "change" ?

Yeah I started that O2 thread with just a simple question and it got out of hand within a few days. Kinda forgot about it until I came back and just happened to see it having 6 pages.....

Fishing wise did great on Texoma last weekend before the Champs off limit started.

I gotta get up there. Love the Fall fishing on Texoma. IMO the best time of year for that lake.

*Every time a thread comes up for fish care and/or oxygen systems they go sideways. Winter on the TFF will be epic.

Especially when the Squaw threads crank up! Just saw that fall OFFICIALLY begins tomorrow(Monday). Forecast mid 90’s all week. “UNOFFICIALLY” not fall! Can’t wait for cooler weather.

I remember back in the day if you didn't check the forum for a couple hours there could be a page or more of new posts. Then old folks found the Facebook.

People are probably tired of all these grown men acting like children. Lots of sarcastic comments in response to valid questions. I hate to say it, but a lot of bass fisherman are jerks. Crappie section is way better haha

I get on here for entertainment (the kind like watching CNN) and occasional useful information to make me a better fisherman.

Beginning to remind me of the last days of BFHP. Couldn't post anything without getting slammed.
