I have one with the AC/DC, absolutely zero complaints. If you run a lot while fishing, they are no brainers to buy. If you don’t run much or long distances, then prob not much benefit to owing one. If mine died today, I’d order another one.

Fishing BassChamps on Amistad wind was howling allllllll day. Couple of hours left and barreries were dead. We hadn’t run much since we hit the Box Canyon area. Fired up the big engine which provided enough juice to finish out the tournament using the trolling motor. Stealth One charger(DC) saved the day.

Several years ago on Falcon we were about 10 miles north of the Veleno when the lower unit decided to explode. Put the trolling motor on high and headed to the county ramp. Got to the mouth of the Salado when batteries gave up the ghost(no pun intended). Fired up the Pro XS and finished trolling back to the county ramp.

Plus... Danny will build you a truck/boat harness so when you’re trailering back home you can also be charging the batteries! I only do this when the trip is going to exceed 3-4 hours....

Also... the Stealth 1 DC charger will work with any AC charger BUT... the Stealth 1 AC charger is so small and light you’ll for sure wanna get one.

The 110v Charger DAnny sells is 2 bank 6 amp each for a total of 12 amp. It absolutey at 12 amps doesn’t charge a start battery fast. I went To a programmed 2 bank for a total of 30 amp and my start battery takes at least 3 hours to run the whole charge cycle.

I had one on a boat a few boats ago. It worked perfectly fine. You have to make some fairly long runs to gain any real charge, but if you do, you can put some juice back in your batteries.
