Anyone have recommendations for mid-lake lodging around Cassels-Boykin ramp? I’ve always stayed south at Rayburn country, bass buster, or just drive in from 2hours away at home. Thanks -JM

Check out Shirley Creek Campground. It's right across from Cassels-Boykin ramp on the other shoreline. They have a ramp too. Nice cabins and good price.

Lakeview has some motel style rooms and is 1/2 mile from Cassels-boyken, Jackson hill is about 4 miles away and has cabins. Wouldn't say they are 5 star but a place to lay your head after fishing all day. Lakeview also has a pretty good burger.

Ken Smith has a YouTube video listing alot of the lodging, restaurants, and food around Sam Rayburn if you can find it.

I like Shady Acres, older mobile homes. But decent and a good price. Have not been there in over a year though.
