Went out for a few hours Friday morning, pretty slow; but we did have several dink bites. We were stuck with the American side due to the fishing license debacle. It was the usual windy mofo, my buddy needs an spotlock TM badly.
Is fishing on the Mexican side that much better than the American side. With all the netting that I hear about on that side I don't see how it could be that much better. If so how and why?

Not near as many nets at Amistad as there is at Falcon, in fact I don’t recall seeing more than a handful of nets from January to May.
My buddy said there was more grass on the Mexico side. I hope this guy named Chance will be there, so I can make him back a few more places in the final tally. Thankfully Lee is going to the Basschamps championship.

I ain’t going to be there for the SIT Mike, I’ll be at Fork.

Fished the whole lake from 277 Bridge to marker 24. We had 10 each day for three days. One 15 lb. stringer. One out of every 3 bites on all baits caught a fish; including a Frog; so lots of missed blow ups. We mostly used the drop shot in the 18 ft. tall grass except for top water time. Biggest fish weighed 10 lbs. and that was a GAR on a Crig Fluke.
