Has any one fished the pads . Its on the north west end of the lake. Off Azle hwy # 730 about 5 miles north of hwy 180 out of Hudson Oaks. Looks fishie. was just wondering. Any other spots, I fish from a yak so a short trip close to the bank is a must this time of year with the heat, and early in the morning. Thanks

It's pretty shallow back there, looks like a carp infested area to me

Its very shallow over there. I like to never got out of it the one time i tried it.
Back in the 80’s caught them on the other side of the bridge in the pads did not use the outboard used long poles to push around but me and my buddy we did catch them.

Pads are so thick now it’s very difficult but a month ago I caught some fish and had several more blowups at 4 in the afternoon.
