I am gonna guess Texoma again. Last year was too good to not consider it again. I know despite the monsoon that week that we had a great time.

Texoma this year then back to the rivers I would imagine.

The Red !! ..........Plenty of places to stay,lots of restaurant choices and of course the lure of the one armed bandits

Whatever pays Champs the most money to bring it would be my guess

My guesses in order: Texoma, just because of the turnout they had. Then in order: Red River, Conroe, Sabine

Make it a rough one and go to Choke Canyon.

That would be a beatdown of epic proportions.

I know Grout.

But if it was there I would be there watching and hitting some waypoints all day long. Championships are suppose to be tough and I can't think of a tougher fishing lake than Choke right now.

Don’t get to down on Choke, their was one pulled out a few days ago just a shade under 15, give this lake a little time and it will be one of the hottest lakes again, let’s just hope it keeps some water

White Rock Lake.. They will only be able to use trolling motors and use the big motor at idle speeds only.

We can go to the red and pull out plenty just under 15"....

Doubt Red River as most major events have been canceled due to conditions for remaining part of the year

Yeah, she doesn’t look like she made it. It is pretty hot down there, 100+ everyday so I’m sure that didn’t help.

Mike I don’t do the book face, what were the weights? Did he win with that fish alone?

Looks like it was his only fish and he only won big bass (no kidding, lol), Lake is still sucking by the weights. I bought a weekend house down there and went out for a few hours Saturday morning and a few Sunday morning, I had zero bites or any signs that there’s any bass in the lake. The lake looks beautiful and in 2 years, it’s gonna be good. Hopefully it won’t get drained.

Well if you’re only gonna catch 1, he caught the right 1. Now that that-fish is dead, there are only 8 bass left in the lake...
