Rod help - 07/15/19 12:08 AM

Guys tried this in the rod and reel forum and nobody's home over there. I need to buy some toppers for some casting rods, i want non-insert, something slick to use fishing floro. Can anybody make a recommendation as to brand and material. I'm over my head on the Mudhole website?

Just buy some Fuji Alconite guides. They sell in three packs at academy, bass pro, etc. pretty inexpensive.

If you want a good inexpensive insert free tip top the PacBay Minima ones are a good choice. Just have to know the tube size and ring size your going to need (in millimeters). I will be back in town on July 25th if you need any help.

Barlow's in Richardson should have some in stock to match and fit what you are looking for. Just take the rods in and they usually install them as well.
