Grande Bass - 07/11/19 05:47 PM
Is there some reason I have driven all over Tarrant county and nobody has any to speak of.

Re: Grande Bass - 07/11/19 05:56 PM
because nobody else wants them
Dripping Springs is only 4 hours away, plus you get to drive thru Val Halla. Just drive over to their head quarters and get what you want.

That's exactly what I want to do lol
Is it just something for this weekend? I do have a rather large collection of GB baits. And did you try the folks over at Tackle Depot in Weatherford. Lisa used to stock quite a bit of their products.

My schedule and hers aren't lining up. I have enough probably. If I get desperate I'll run over before the close tomorrow. It's one particular bait

Thanks for the offer Fouz, my tackle hoarding neighbor has some lol.
I have read, don't know for sure, but they have been somewhat of a logistical disaster for quite some time now.
Academy around here usually has a pretty solid supply and selection

This is either some sort of pro staffer requirement to drum up attention, or it is code for what to throw on lake X during the derby. Either way, I concur with your assement. Which color are the stores in your area out of?

I've made 15-20 orders over probably 8-9 years and haven't any trouble. On one order, I received the wrong color. I sent them an email asking if I needed to ship them back. They said not to worry about it, keep them for the mess up and sent what I had actually ordered.
some years back I caught a lot of fish on the rattlesnake including a 13 and a 12 and many others so I hoarded G B products lol the trick worm with air tail is great .

I like and still have some of their baits but did not like doing business with them so I finally just stopped ordering.

I loved the original 4.5 rattlesnake and 6” trickworms. The plastic changed some years ago and hasn’t been the same
The rattle snake is my go to crig bait. Especially in chartreuse. They eat it everywhere

I remember helping Jerry in the design and prototype process of this bait. And couldn’t believe just how many fish it caught. But you are correct Jarrett. It gets bit everywhere you throw it and has always been a c-rig staple in my boat as well.

Yep the rattlesnake and the baby snake.
Looking at their website looks like they are changing their name to just “Grande fishing lures”

They've been introducing some soft plastics geared towards saltwater fishing

I just order online during their sale or free shipping events, just signup for email announcements. I've had nothing but good luck with my baby rattlesnakes!

Re: Grande Bass - 08/03/19 07:54 PM
This might be my fault. I have about 50 bags lol... The ones I cant find are the 3.75 Smaller Trophy Hunter colors. That color does well for me... and agree, can throw them anywhere. I probably throw them too much. Don't know how to fish anything else. lol
