One sweet rig

One sweet rig - 07/07/19 11:59 PM

I've never seen a rig like this before, especially out here in West Texas. Saw it here in San Angelo last week. What a great bed and bow fishing platform that must must be. Anyone seen one like this back east? [Linked Image]

Yea, if you ever go to a big shoot you will see all kinds of rigs tricked out to their needs.

I've seen that rig at the horseshoe a time or two last year. Go down to South Texas and you'll see hundreds of them.

you should see the ones on clear lake in calif, they gut bass boats out and put 4-6-8 55 gallon drums in them and remove 2-300k lbs of carp in a weekend tourney

South Texas has a ton of them burning the shoreline especially from the LLM south.

South Texas has a ton of them burning the shoreline especially from the LLM south. Most of those are set up for fishing. This one looks to be set up for floundering or bow fishing.

That’s not a bowfishing boat. That’s a flounder gigging boat.

Next time you see him, please give him directions to Purtis Creek.
Thank you

I live near Corpus Christi and these tower boats are everywhere. They burn through the flats until they see reds and then get out and wade. Common around here.

He's definitely got him one heck of a light spread on it that's for sure! I'm betting if it's sitting in San Angelo they're going to do a little bowfishing even if that's not its primary use. Nice boat for sure

See them all the time here in Galveston. My favorite boat of that style is Simmons Custom Boats. That one kind of looks like a Simmons, but it would be badged most likely.

A Simmons, is I suppose the Legend of bass boats. They look sharp and are HIGH dollar.. A used Simmons would make it look like you got your brand new Skeeter or Ranger on clearance.. Lol
