Starting Spot on Fork

Starting Spot on Fork - 06/25/19 02:24 PM

I am headed to Fork this weekend for the first time in a long time. I still know my deep holes to fish, but I’m looking for any insight to where I might get an early topwater bite? Any main lake vegetation with any depth to it? Launching at Oak Ridge. Any help is highly appreciated.

The last 2 weekends we've started deep and stayed deep.

Start at the Minnow Bucket and work your way around to the public ramp or go across the lake and fish the opening to Alligator cove.

Spent afternoon/evening out there till dark today. The dock bite is pretty strong right now as is the shallow bite. Do not be afraid to push way back into the creeks. Fish are still far back in them and pretty aggressive. They were crushing a buzzbait today. Find any shade along the bank with some cover and its money. I stayed mid lake today and caught fish everywhere I went.

Dock bite still pretty strong today. Caught fish on docks in every creek I went into all over the lake. Buzzbait bite kinda off today but I bet it will get better.
