Best fishing flip flops? - 06/19/19 10:50 PM

My Croc flip flops finally broke last year after several years of comfort. Bought a pair of Sperry's and they are very spare. What is the best out there?

Loomis NRX

Just kidding, I like REEF brand.

right! Can’t believe Dobyns doesn’t make flip flops. Reefs are popular. Adidas are comfortable, but ugly. Crocs are horrible for your back.

I’m gonna follow this one...

My Nike ones are padded and very comfortable. Got them in Alaska for the. Cheena springs but I've liked them for the boat too.

I'll try to rule one out for you--Simms. They might make good rain gear, but not footwear. No cushion and a really high arch.

Hard to beat my NB running shoes as I'm a little clumsy in flops, but if it's going to be stupid hot I'll throw a pair of Reefs in the boat.

Second vote for Under Armour fat tires! Most comfortable pair of flip flops I have ever worn.

1000000% Oofos flip flops. They changed my life. Hands down the most comfortable flip flops I've ever owned. Do yourself a favor and try them, they're amazing.

They aren’t flip flops, but I recently got a pair of Hey Dude as a gift. Hands down, the most comfortable loose fitting footwear I’ve ever owned. Will be buying more.

The best, bar none are called “Tiddies” and I’ll leave to your imagination to decide where the name came from. Feels like, well, I’ll leave that to your imagination. At least give them a look...

I love my Simms Atoll, no slip, tight fitting, and comfortable. Plus they last forever. The really cushiony ones only last a year or two until you have worn through the cushion.

I have a pair of soft science too and they are a good option as well but a little wide for me.

Oakley for the memory foam standing around all day...
Reef & Scott are 'dress slippahs'.

Must be nice to have options. I wear a 14 or 15 depending on the shoe. I just have to take whatever brand / color I find that fits.

I bought a pair of Columbia something or others, the ones with the drain ports in the side and I absolutely love them, excellent wearing outsoles and super comfy once you wear them around for a little bit. They are a little stiff at first but a couple of afternoons wearing the around and that went away. Plus I wear a size 14 and their 13's fit perfectly.

I haven't seen those flip flops since the 80s! Used to be very popular.

I also really like my simms sandals. It's my go to pair most of the time. As I recall there was a break in period on them before they got really comfortable.

Another Vote for Olukai sandals. They are really expensive but they last a long time also have a really good warranty. I had a pair come apart and they sent me a credit for any pair on their website.

I love my Dock Martins they’ve held up for the past two seasons and going on their third. I just wish I could find the same ones so I could purchase another pair for when these finally wear out.

You need Ray-Ban Wafarers and OceanPacific shorts to go with those.

The insole is completely flat when you buy them, after a few days they form to "your" foot. I have a very High Arch, and these are the only flip flops I've found that do not make my feet hurt.

I like Sperry flip flops. I have the Wahoos but I don't think they make them anymore...

Crocs are the only shoe I can wear while fishing that won't cause my feet and back to hurt.

I got a pair of the Columbia flips at a Columbia Outlet for $12 and they are the most comfortable flip flops I’ve ever had.

That place is awesome! Walked in there for the first time not too long ago just looking and left $300 later. Got some helluva deals tho.

I like Hoka flip flops while fishing. They seem much easier on my back over the course of the day than other brands I’ve tried

Reefs are the most comfortable I’ve ever had. I bought a pair of Olukai’s last year and wish I would have stuck with the reefs.
