Short strikes on senkos?

Lots of fish in shallow weeds. Getting strikes on almost every cast to the weeds but hardly any hookups. Would knock it around but not eating. Tried going down to #1 mosquito hook but no improvement. Some are dinks but some decent fish there too.

Few bluegill but not many. Clear water - could see most of the fish and mostly small bass

You can run the Senko up the line a little farther and set the book more in the middle of the worm
It's worked for us before

3 inch Senkos would be money. Try a 1/0 straight shank finesse worm hook with a keeper, or a 2/0 Rig N' Hook. Also, let them swim with it before you set the hook.
