What happened to that guy?

Last year a guy said he had retired, sold all his stuff, and moved to El Salto. With all the stuff you hear about people "wandering off the reservation " and running into outlaws in Mexico I sure hope he's ok and really living the dream!

I think he has now moved back. I think I read something along those lines from a post or two of his. I could be mistaken though.

a guy from California we fished with last week at Picachos rented a house in the local town for a year at $150 per month.....made the deal at the RSJA camp while we were there.
House looked like [censored] & needed to have utilities in it --- but he planned to move there from California and live the dream of fishing in Mexico for a full year
Going to get a maid / a cook / get a little boat ------
yeah right !!!!
that won't last long...…… Picachos area is pretty primitive if not at the RSJA camp & even then some parts of the camp are crappy. Not because of RSJA -- just because it is Mexico in the mountains.

I talked to Bluebonnet awhile back. He said “it didn’t work out”. Moved back to the states.

I think he was from East Texas. I believe he sold the Charger and bought a little bigger Skeeter, if I remember correctly.

I communicated with him several times as he was selling out getting ready to move down there. Can't remember the exact location but he did say he was not far from grocery stores and a Home Depot. He seemed excited about the move but apparently something went south. Hope he's ok and gets his life back together.

Yep. That's him. He traded the Charger at Nautical Mile and that's where I bought it.

He is still on BBC, not sure why he’s not on here.

I wanted to hear his story. What the people and area was like. Considering that myself.
