Livewell Pumpout Install - 01/29/19 05:02 AM

What is needed to put one in a boat that does not have one?
Pump
hose
switch
wires
Caulking
fitting for hose
obviously drill holes on the back of the boat and livewell
Am I missing anything?

Does your boat have a recirc pump already? My boat has a pump out but it’s not it’s own pump. All it is a diverter valve that’s where the recirc line pumps into the livewell, you pull the valve and it diverts the water to the pump out line and out the boat.

You shouldn’t need a pump just the valve and plumb it to exterior of boat.

Yes it does, problem is, I need to install a livewell control valve. When I had my boat at a local getting some work done last year, they replaced some hoses and forgot to put this back in. So I’m doing some clean up from this shop and that’s when I noticed the valve was missing.

But that is great news, that’s easy enough

Not sure about your question but are you back in the Sanger area? If so we need to go fishing sometime. I bought a Skeeter fx21 new in 2014. Let me know if you wanna go sometime..

James I’m in another Basscat, we can go float around Roberts any day. I’m 10 minutes from the marina. I only go to San Diego to visit. I’ve been here 4 years and love it.

I’m interested in doing this also but I’m having a hard time finding that valve. Seems as though they quit making it. I can’t find it anywhere on the flow rite website.
