Lance Vicks boat lanes chip no doubt. Didn't know there was another one, but don't know why you need another one.

Hmmmmm, never actually heard of “Guide Lanes”. Boat Lanes seems pretty all inclusive. Am I missing something?

Lance's version has been out for a long time. I've run it the entire time I've been on Fork and it sure helps to have it. I heard about the other version, but no sense in getting another version when the current one works fine. When the lake starts getting lower than 3' below pool, be careful no matter which version you get.

Boatlanes for me
Couple of differences that need to be noted between the two products
Boatlanes uses a trail so your unit is not cluttered with waypoints
The new extended version of Boatlanes has 45 new trails added to the original trail
And still is half the price of the other

Is there an update available for those that purchased the boatlanes product previous to the release of the extended version?

Da! That’s a surprise! JK! Love your chip. Cheapest insurance policy you can buy . Takes a bit of faith in some areas but has not let me down. thumb

I've got it. I think it was just released.
Boatlanes extended version has trails deep into Chaney, Ray, Dale & Big Mustang.
Those can determine if you have extended version

"extended version, 45 new trails", How can I see what is added? I was a little underwhelmed with Boat lanes, it only taught me two or three passes other than what is already marked with buoys.

Here is what he sent me to reply if mine was new or old.

"Yours is the new one if it has trail into dale creek"

I havent looked at my paper map to see if Dale creek is marked so then I could confirm on my helix, usually when people use names on posts on here about fork none of them are on the paper map.

Ok. I did a little Google Earth magic and overlayed the extended(yellow) over the old(green) Boatlanes to illustrate the new(in yellow).
Extended has new or extended trails into Chaney, Ford, Ray, Dale, Big Mustang, Oil Well(?), Birch extensions, Lake Fork Marina, 515E-to-Long Branch, Searcy, Bell, Rogers, etc and etc.

I'm pretty sure this Fork version was just released, like in just the last week.

Looking forward to using the new Boat Lanes chip very soon. Lance's original versions have saved me a lot of time and money.

thanks your saying thats the lance chips new updates?

Im sure mine dont have all that yellow as mentioned in here already It basically only had the boat lanes, I was dissapointed to put it mildly. Mine was new last year.

Some of those in green are not boat lanes. They are cuts that Lance put together so actually you did get more than just boat lanes in that chip.
