St. Lawrence River-BASS Elite Series - 08/23/18 09:09 PM

27 plus pounds is pretty impressive anywhere in the US. It's great to see how that fishery has improved over time. It will be really cool if someone breaks the 100 pound mark.

Crazy weights, I bet that place would be so much fun to fish! Should be #1 on Bassmasters list!

27-12 with a dead fish penalty is strong for smallies.

Palaniuk a couple of weeks ago predicted that for the first time ever that they will could break 100lbs with nothing but smallmouth.

I wonder how many 3-4lbers got culled. The numbers must be crazy up there.

Looks like Fletcher Shryock was going to ghost launch his boat, but missed the water.

noidea

I wonder what the story is?

Did it happen after take out and someone forgot to secure it or did someone unhook and unstrap it in the night and this happened going to the marina?

Crazy. They said yesterday there were 52 bags weighed that were 20+. That's more than the the last 3 tournaments combined (12 days of fishing)

Pretty much all smallies too. I couldn't imagine

I have fished Lake Ontario the last 2 years in late July out of Henderson Harbor. The place is absolutely amazing. The sheer quantity of 3-6# smallies in something you have to see to believe.

Whats super impressive to me is that with all the 20-25 lb bags big fish of the tournament is only 6 lbs 9oz right now. Thats a bunch of 5 lbr's!

I need to get up there for a couple of days of fishing. They are wrecking the smallmouth.

19 lbs. a day doesn't make a dime. Amazing, I wouldn't think THAT has ever happened before.

Falcon 2008 took 25lbs a day to cash a check.
