Fishing near Bellinham, Washington State

Has anyone fished Washington State near the town of Bellingham. going there in early August. Any help would be appreciated. I have no idea what species is available, etc. Thanls

Although outstanding fishing exists in Washington for both LM and SM bass, the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife has always been and still is very pro-trout and salmon and very anti-bass. Still, bass fishing and tournaments (often called derbies up there) exist. Try these sources:
