Sloppy pedestal fit.....?

So, my pedestals fit in the metal sleeves, but the fit is sloppy.
I've seen the plastic inserts.
Are these my fix?
Anyone got my answer?

Just depends?
- boat new or boat used. Used you pretty much buy as is.
- Peds. come with boat
- Peds. after market

Donald.....boat is preowned.....original pedestals....
Just not snug fit in the holes like they should be.....so, they "wobble" a bit.
Drives me nutz!

My back one is sloppy on my 2005 Pantera. I'm not sure what can be done about it either.

Do they screw in? My Skeeter has screw in pedestals ....and they are wobbly loose until I turn them clockwise and tighten them.
