Pines Summer Fishing - 06/28/18 11:31 AM
I'm fishing the ABA tournament out there this weekend. I've never been on the lake at this time of year. What can I expect? Is it a shallow all year type of lake? Will it be won out deep? Last year out there we were earlier in the year and north of 155 was a huge player. Is it still that way with the heat on? I'm fishing as a co, so I'm going and doing what the boater says we are, just trying to get a lay of the land before I head that direction this afternoon.
Thanks

Last week caught about 18 to 20lb stringer on brush piles in 15 to 20 ft creatcher baits and cranks. Last night caught 7 and lost 2 biguns all on black blue jig. Haven't been north so can't comment on that.

About 80-90% of the tournaments fished on LOP is won above 155 bridge. Lots of big fish live in that mud up there.

2 weeks ago buddy had 24 lbs on frogs fishing around bream beds. We will be out there fun fishing Saturday but plan to stay deep.
