Internet/WiFi providers around Lake Fork

Anybody know who’s good around Fork? We need to get WiFi at our place out there.

Peoples is about the only show in town.

I’ll give them a call in the morning.

Mine is through Dish and it's not very good. I've also had Hughes Net and it was worse.

i use hughes net and have good internet I am not at lake fork but i am in athens tx

I pay for the top speed from peoples. It’s crazy to pay twice the money for 10% of the speed compared to Dallas prices but it’s the best option. Good for browsing, Netflix, hbo, and I’ve had good success streaming live sports with minimal buffering issues.

I’ve got Peoples double bonded DSL at Cypress and it’s the best offered and does great.

I was going to get Hughes Net but was going to have to sell my house to be able to pay for it.

We've had Peoples for probably close to 20 years. Where I live, it is the only option.
Looked at Hughes net and after asking around, the only good reference I've ever heard for it is the chick that sells it on tv..

I think Danny Weems is working on providing for that area is he not?

We got an AT&T hot spot for the time being. Peoples won’t come into our trailer park. And Hughes is out.
Building in November out there so we will wait til then and get peoples.

Do you know who Danny is with? Is it his own company? They for sure need some more options out there.

Chris I believe Danny is in Winnsboro, he's on here some.. Kay has a Jet Pack from Verizon she use's to work remotely, once we move for good, people's will be the way to go.. Hughe's net is ridiculous, so is people's, but, the lesser of two evils...

i live on the west side of birch creek. all i have is frontier do not go with them if you can help it they are the worst i ever seen. i had to call in on either inter net or phone 10 times this year. their story is poor equipment that is not being replaced.

Look into Viasat. A lot of folks in my yard use it.
