Anybody been to lake Fairfield lately? If so how’s the lake level and fishing?
Just wondering how it’s fishing. I’m assuming you can still fish at night ?

Question for the locals or guys in the know....
Are there any big Reds left in the lake... I've had a few monsters OWN me a couple times... Gawd, that was fun back in 1999-2001

No Red fish in years. They didn't survive.

I fished Fairfield on this past Sunday. Normally when I fish Fairfield, the hydrilla is submerged and you can throw frogs into the reeds or flip a jig and do pretty good, but on Sunday all of the hydrilla was on top of the water and grown out 15 feet off the reeds. I had some luck in the Lilly pads, but couldn’t catch fish anywhere near hydrilla. I think if you know how to fis deep(which I do not) then you could probably do pretty good, saw lots of bait balls in deeper water. Good luck!

I think it was down a bit, but not much, the hydrilla is just extremely grown
