Anybody been lately?

Fished a small club tourney last weekend.

Caught a 3.5 and an 8.4 on top water from 6:10 to 6:23.

Didn’t catch another fish until 11:45, which was a 6.4 lber. Caught another 8-10 fish between 11:45 and 1:00. Only 2 were less than 18”. Every fish was in less than 4’ on rough windy shores.

I fished worms, jigs and C-rigs in 10-30’ and never got bit.


Sunday my son wanted to target white bass. We trolled 5xds and DD22s. Only caught 10 white bass but caught 5 largemouth including 1 5 lber that was suspended over 60’ of water.

Those are some nice Ivie fish. Thanks for the excellent report on what and how.

Nice!! I’ve been a lot further and done a lot worse! Glad to see Ivie is fishing good(for those that figure it out).

Had a club tourney there few months ago l.the fish are still there,most peacefull Lake in texas other than falcon

My favorite lake to fish. You can catch 25 lbs 1 day and struggle to get a bite the next, but lots of quality fish and giants on that lake.

Plenty of white bass to bend the pole as well and never know when you will catch a decent smallmouth.
