Can't say I'd drop $590 for one. Ya'll think these will sell?

Kistler has been selling their Z-Bone line for quite awhile now. The Z-Bone is the only other rod I've found to be comparable to an NRX.

They are exploring the limits of the Upper income bass fishermen. So much dang money out there, i'm sure they will sell.

They’re definitely not for everyone. I have 3 of the new ZBones. They are so light, but I got the 3 LMH ones. 7’, 7-3 and 7-6. I use those for finesse fishing Senkos.

The model you linked is one of the most expensive. Others are in the low $500 range. I did some custom ZBones a few years ago that came to more than $700.

Considering some Bass boats list at $90k+ equipped, yeah they can sell these. I mean the rod must match the status of the boat.

Have a Ranger Z21 at Ft Worth Cabela's for a bargain price of $111,000. Only $985 a month so $500 rod no big deal. Lol..

And even the team guys are having pay full price. Not allowing them to get deals on it. I’ll still with my Klx and H3 till local guy gets his customs going

Impulse rods are ok but I’d have pass.

Good question.

1) skipping
2) light eighth ounce Texas rig Senko
3) open water distance casting

I use a 7-6 heavy Zbone for pitching 6-inch Senko

I have several older Kistlers, none much over 100-150 bucks new on ebay, not even sure which models. Had them for a long time, fished quite a few BFL tournaments with them over the years. As far as $500 kistlers.......BPS carbonlites will work just fine for us mere mortals.

$260ish is my max for rods which gets me into a St. Croix Tounament Bass series. Have 1 Kistler Feel & Reel but it's in the same price range. To each his own.

I love my Kistler rods too but unless I was fishing for serious cash that would be too rich for my blood.
Throw a decent reel on it and you now have 850-900 tied up in that combo.
But to each their own and if you have the funds to do so I am sure it would be a great rod to fish with.

I just bought 3 new helium 3 rods with the 25% off code. Really interested in testing them. The z bones is a probably not in my future unless the h3 rods are outstanding..

Kistler makes great stuff and has great customer service. I once tightened the reel seat too far on a rod and broke the little tightener piece and Trey sent me a new one next day for no charge.

hmmm There's not even a way to put a new one on the rod unless you remove the guides.

2019 Kistler Z-bones are 25% more sensitive & 25% lighter.
Damn!
I have older Z-bones in 3-MH, 4-MH and 5-H and they are very light and sensitive.
25% more and I should feel a fish thinking about biting my lure...

Tackletour.com reviewed a 7'3" 2019 Z-bone ZB3LMH73. It weight 3.4oz.
