Need a little help from TFF!

Need a little help from TFF! - 06/03/18 12:21 AM

My uncle from California is visiting and my dad wants me to take him fishing tomorrow, but I haven't been out in over a month due to work and home projects. I usually fish Whitney or Granbury but not being on any fish I am looking for suggestions and anything on patterns, etc. that may help me put the old men on a few fish on either lake right now.

Should fish Clark. Whacked on frogs, again, today. No "funner" way to fish.

24hr access? My 9 yr old and I are about to leave the house. Can’t recall if they have a gate at the ramp

She’s dying to go night fishing

I like Clark but haven't fished it in a while. Dad lives between Weatherford and Granbury so trying to keep him from driving so far in the morning. I may hit Clark tomorrow night after I get back though🤔

Never been to Clark, but all this talk about frog fishing I think I will give it a go on Thursday. Anything I should know on navigating or things to try?

Where is Clark? I see a lake Clark and a Clark Lake on opposite sides of the metroplex

there is an old submerged dam separating "old" lake Clark from the expanded "new" lake. It is VERY shallow across this point. There are two poles that used to hold a sign on the old spillway of the old dam. Between these two poles and the little point on the airport side, is a HUGE boulder that WILL take out a lower unit. Only cross the dam on pad between the two poles and the rocky point with the gazebo on it. ....at least until you get to know where this boulder is.

Other than that, bring a prop wrench for the boat and one for the tm. They will get gunked with snot grass, lilly pad stems, hydrilla, duck weed, hay grass, and whatever else grows in a inundated grass lake. Lol.

No real hazards on the lake. Other than the rock I mentioned.

Clark is north of 287 in Ennis. First light coming into town...take a left...winds through a little neighborhood....3rd street....take a left. Then it dead ends into a road along side the lake and there's the ramp.
