Thanks Debra,
I plan on being out there. Do you know of an app or method to know where each angler is on the lake?

It will be interesting to see how good or bad the crowd is...

It was an awesome event and Expo in Lufkin last year and very, very few people showed up. The Saturday seminars and Costa fixing/replacing eyewear for free were worth the drive and then some.

There is an app you can download for Bassmaster on a smart phone that I have. BASSTrakk and BASS Live will be ongoing during the event so you can keep track of their weights throughout the day. I'll be there as well.

It will be really busy around the launching area. Thursday and Friday with 108 competitors, Saturday cut to Top 50 and Sunday Top 12.

Costs around $15-$18 to launch a boat on Travis

Dang it, do the Pro's have to pay to launch as well? I guess that is no different than us but they will rack up on launch fees between practice and tourney days with 108 anglers.

Yes they do...but they can write it off as a business expense. smile

Good question. I wonder if they need fishing licenses for every state as well?

Brent Ehrler has a 7-10. Two others close to 6 weighed and released. Travis is showing off early

Hackney has already caught 14 keepers, that's solid.

The thing about Travis is with the depth it has, the bite can stay hot all day. You just have to keep the jet skis and wakeboard boats from running you over.

Yes they have to have a license for the state they are in.

I agree and they are stacked up on docks right now. Should be interesting to see where the weights end up for the day for the top 10. I think the leaderboard is going to change a lot in the next 3 hours.
