Boat came with 2 hds 9's gen 3 and honestly I would rather have 2 birds than the lowrance don't get me wrong the lowrance are great but I have an ultrex and think I would be better of to work it to my advantage.

what do yall think about trading out of them to a comparable hummingbird? would it cost me money? or is there any chance some genius figures out how to make a contraption that allows the lowrance to communicate with the ultrex?

Ended up selling to a guy in Georgia.

I have an Ulterra and was never really impressed with the sonar views from the us2 transducer.
I have a 360 unit on the transom that I used 95 percent of the time when I was up on the bow.

You will take a hit. Not going to be able to do like-like without cash on the side. Make sure you have the “iPilot Link” or you are spending money to get Birds and receiving no benefit from your Ultrex.
