Hawk is hardly a rookie if you follow the western bass trails. That guy has been competing out there for a long time.

I’ve been friends with him for decades. It is nice to see his success on the Elites. He’s won some pretty big tournaments outside of BASS.

We have had local TFF members win Elite Series

He's won close to half a million dollars in FLW

He's already cashed two Elite checks, 3rd place at Grand, 2nd at Lake Martin

Roy Hawk was on Bass Talk Live before the season started, it's worth a watch.

Even the bassmaster crew hesitates to call him a rookie. We all know he's not a rookie to fishing but he is a rookie to the elite series by rule.

I noticed that as well, I believe last day Mercer and I think crews were doing a live update. Crews mentioned “hawks success on another circuit” lol Mercer said it’s ok you can say FLW.

Chad Griffin won an Elite event on the pro side.

Brian Clark, Mark Pack(I think) and Mike Kernan have won BASS Opens. I think Clark has won 2 Opens though I may be wrong.
