New Bridgeport Record??? - 04/17/18 08:50 PM
I heard a 12.6 was caught. Trying to get details. Cant believe an 11 pounder has held all this time. Wonder if LMB just don't do so well with all the hybrid/striper?

There's definitely some good fish in it. I caught this one today. It went almost 9 lbs on my hand scale. Not sure how accurate it is tho. 24 1/2 in long.

I saw the new record at the ramp, what a fish!
The Bass are gorging on all of the bait in the lake, at least three or four times the amount there has been, the flood a few years back was a nutrient explosion. Have heard of two over ten last week, all kinds of 6-9 pounders.
A 13 plus was caught last year but not certified.
Not enough Hybrids in here at this point to affect the LMB growth, now the Sand Bass, that's another story!

I was wondering where the best Bank fishing may be on Lake Bridgeport?
I have a buddy that blew his motor up and wanted to at least get some fishing time in?

There are some areas on the west end of the 380 bridge and at wise county park to bank fish.

The water just looked dirtier than normal to me. Didn’t remember any recent rains. Just wondering if the lake was turning over?

It got a lot of rain a while back that dirtied it up. Main lake clearing up good.

The stained water has not hurt the bite at all. Its been lights out the last 2 trips.
