Any advice on Richland Chambers

Any advice on Richland Chambers - 02/27/18 04:13 PM

Have a trip planned for Richland Chambers this weekend with some buddies. I don't know much about the lake. I do know that it is stump city and not to run it at all. Anyone have any insight on the patterns on that lake?

No one has anything? Wasn't my first choice of lakes to go to, but I wasn't the one who made the plans.

Not a lot of stumps until you get up in to the two creeks. You’ll see it. Looks like a forest. Don’t run there. Stay to the east on Richland and you’ll be ok.
Good luck.

The fact that the guys can't tell you what's up with the fishing could be a good thing. It means all the bass folks aren't beatin it to death !

A jig is a real game changer on that lake, last derby there had to adjust several times

Well it's spawning time so find a east/west cove and fish the north bank. Jigs, craw worms and lizards should work. Enjoy the day with your buddies.
