Big Sonar Upgrade Coming to Lowrance Displays in March
the upcoming release of new Lowrance® software for HDS Carbon™
HDS Gen3 and Elite Ti displays. The new software will help anglers find fish easier and faster, see bottom structure in even greater detail,and enjoy simpler navigation.At the heart of the release is Fish Reveal™,an exciting new sonar feature
that make fish identification even easier; plus significant enhancements to high-
frequency Structure Scan® HD/3D
imaging, the addition of C-MAP® Easy Routing and Navionics® Dock-to-Dock Auto routing
capability and a new C MAP® navigation palette.
The soft ware is scheduled to be released March 10

Guess I need to upgrade. Gen 2 came out 3 months after I got a Gen 1. Touch and Gen 3 came out 6 months after I got the Gen 2. No more support for either I guess.

They should release a software upgrade fixing all the pesky and annoying bugs as well
