Adjustments for Shimano Curados - 02/14/18 08:34 PM

Just purchased my first Shimano Curado. Noticed it has 3 different adjustments for casting: the SVB, a small dial on bottom with numbers, and normal dial adjustment. Any ideas on what each does and recommendation on how to set them?

The star will set your drag
The round nob will set thee tension on the spool
The numbers will adjust the brake / spooling speed.

If you're looking to make it looser, then take the side plate off and there are 4 square plastic tabs there on the side of the spool. They are magnets. You can take a knife or small screwdriver and click a couple of them back and that will loosen up your spool a LOT.

My advice is start with 2 in 2 out... middle of the dial on number and about 1/3 screwed in om the spool tension. Get a feel for it and loosen up from there... i crank my drag down TIGHT but thats up 2 u
