Will lake Welsh still be super crowded this weekend? I've never been there and was thinking about going there instead of fork. Just looking to catch a few don't really care how big. I'd take any other numbers lake recommendations between there and dfw too as I'm still learning the area.

Friday before the front. Weekend will have crowd AND weather to deal with.

Might as well save the vacation day for another couple weeks and fight the crowds at Fork!

I have been on Welsh every weekend for the last 2 months. It is not bad at all. You are able to fish everywhere you want, even with some of the small club tourneys.

If it's not bad I would hate too see bad. Last Saturday I was up and there was two club tournaments going on and one Kayak tournament that had 54 Kayaks.
