I just bought a Skeeter zx190 with a 2001 175 V-MAX Yamaha HPDI, any recommendations on the best 2cycle oil to put in that oil injection tank? Thanks in advance for any comments.

Pennzoil premium plus. Save yourself the money. Been running it almost 10 years with no issues.

Cheapest , oil is overated , think about it , the type of oil that was available in 2001 , the cheapest today would still be in acceptance of your enegine requirements. I have a 1999 200 Yammie , it never see s the same oil twice unless I buy bulk , still runs very good . Now you my get some funny looks when it smokes like a 1967 slant 6 Dodge pick up truck but hey .

Just make sure and run a quality additive like ring free and a fuel stabilizer. Also an external water filter is a cheap precaution to have peace of mind.

Quicksilver premium plus is what I run in my 250 HPDI never had any issues. And as Jaret said good fuel additive and external water/fuel filter to keep the HPDI happy.
