Fishing the warm weather this weekend? - 01/21/18 02:49 AM
I was just curious on the people who went fishing today with the warm weather, how was it? I haven't been able to fish since around October first with a trolling motor issue and then an injury from work so the closest I get to the water right now is reading the forums.

Just cause the weather was warm, doesnt mean the water is... Water still has a good chill on the hot water lake I fish... If i had to guess by feeling with my hand, the water is still low 50s Friday morning on the hot water side.

Hit my local lake for a few hours yesterday. Water temp was 47-48 and the bite was slow.

Needed to get warm Thursday night and Friday to make a difference. This weekend coming up should be better with bright sun all week

Fished Sam Rayburn and yes temps in low 50's was a nice reprieve from the 20's the lake temps 47-48.5 south end. Another cold front hits in the morning dropping temps into the 30's.
