I know you know how to do it...I'm getting soft in my old age, just ain't that mad atom any more.. I fished the lake in the late late 70's and 80-86.. Always cuaght fish, lots of 5-8+ fish back then, lots bigger too. It's a shame good things have change or disappear..

I would not take that bet. Every lake I’ve ever fished who’s “intermittent” running plant (Arlington, Ray Hubbard, Granbury...) was turned on in winter would attract the fish and surprisingly quickly. The big lakes/small plants only concentrate them at the discharge. Someone needs to park on the discharge tonight! Not me!

I've been looking daily thinking the Ray Hubbard plant would fire up but it hasn't.

When it gets this cold Lone Star or what ever their name is now(their gas supplier) curtails the plants gas to use to heat public housing. There is not enough gas supply in the area to supply both at these kinda temps. I doubt the EPA wants them burning fuel oil if they have any on hand.

The January February window on Ray Hubbard closed in the middle 90's.
