I use med hvy 7' and 7'6" 15lb to 20lb p-line on my rattle trap rods. Tried the braid but lost too many fish, and seemed to miss more hookups.

7' med-heavy glass rod, 7:1:1 Curado, 20 pound fluoro or co-poly line and I fish like 20 different "trap" style baits

5-17 Cara for grass(have trouble ripping 4 power). I use fluorocarbon (15 invisx). Like the feel of the line; more feedback than mono and more forgiving w/ trebles than braid
