Google "tacklewarehouse Black Friday" and go to images. You can see the old banner ads. In years past its started at noon Friday and runs through Tuesday. It's 20% off.

I think Memorial Day is also 20%. Other Holidays tend to be 15%

Also...as an FYI about tacklewarehouse. Do your homework. Build your wish list or cart and then shop each item. I found this last year and it's still true today.

A great comparison shopping example. But if you actually NEED the 20lb InvisX, you need to pay the $29....since Academy is ALWAYS about of stock.

Worst BF sale ever. The excluded list is grown such they should list what's on sale now.

call them. I bet the list is a formality due to MAP agreements with vendors. I know my Ultrex was blacklisted .....and I got a significant discount when I called. I also bought a bunch of Steez reels one year during their sale and it didn't reflect the price until it was in the cart at checkout.

Out of thousands of brands they have less than 25 brands not included on the "advertised" pricin. Call them, it's well worth the time.

Personally I am happy they have the sale. I foubd all I needed and more. I'm not bitching about a company taking the time and resources like TW to have the sale. Their selection is huge and they don't set MAP themselves.

I did did, held for 15 minutes an its exclude what I wanted. It was not last year.

Odd thing is that some places had Megabass rods at 20% off even with their map. I was so tempted to try them, but I ended up with some dobyns. I’ll appreciate any chance to save money for my hobby.

Megabass Orochi XX rods should be the only models discounted 20%. All MB dealers have the option to discount that series at this time.

Bought a couple of reels, crankbaits, chatterbaits and jigs. Beats buying piecemeal over the course of the year at full price and probably paying shipping with each order. At least that's my rationalization.

By the way, 6th Sense has a 20% off sale on all items on their website. Some items are discounted already and still receive the 20% discount. Just enter BF20 (case sensitive)when it asks for coupon code during checkout.

Strike King lures are advertised at 30 percent off on tackle warehouse. Landbigfish has them at 25 percent off. Landbigfish prices are still way cheaper than TW. It almost looks like TW raised their prices.

St.Croix is on the exclusion list, but when I dropped a rod in the cart it had the 20% price shown. Same as at Labor Day this year

What’s up with tw shipping. I tried to place an order tonight and it said the estimated 2 day shipping was 12/26/17.

The shipping from my order on Monday has been pushed back was scheduled for yesterday now it's showing Monday. I imagine it's from all the orders they have had over the last week.

There was a big thread on BBC about a bunch of orders that had holds put on them. Guess they sold a lot more than they thought and it screwed up their shipping times
I would much rather pay $3 to have a place like TW where I can purchase anything I need. Sort of like the local tackle shop. I always try to stop and spend a few bucks just to keep those people going.

My order from Sat was two boxes. One is showing out for delivery today. The other is saying waiting to be processed by UPS and its package progress still shows it in CA.

My shipment was delayed, but looked to be more on UPS's end than TW's...

I splurged and did the 3 day shipping for $5. totally work it.

Only one mom & pop tackle shop that I know of within 20 miles of me and it’s been around a while but I’ve never been as I’m never over that way. So I would much prefer to shop on TW than at Cabela’s or Academy (though I don’t mind stopping by on occasion) where I save the tax and have a selection of products that one only dreams about. There used to be an easily searchable $5 off code for TW that I used multiple times but they seemed to have caught on to that a while back and it not longer works. Amazon is a good idea. Prime shipping!
