Wind Point Park - Tawakoni

Anyone use the ramp up there? On the satelite map it doesn't look like there's a courtesy dock. Is the front gate always open?

No courtesy dock and all rock shoreline. When the wind is from the south it's tough launching and loading your boat. I highly recommend the State Park as an alternative. Safe, great ramps and courtesy dock and protected from the south wind.

They actually have 2 ramps now. You can beach your boat easily at the new ramp. I don't recommend it on a south wind at all
