For the new Helix 12 Mega SI, how did you mount it on the back of the boat? Wondering if Humminbird has a developed a more advanced mounting bracket.

The Transducer Shield and Saver TM-HX-1 is the model for the SOLIX and Helix MEGA SI transducer.

The transom mount that comes with the MEGA SI transducer is similar to the transom HDSI mount part that attaches to the hull (stainless steel) and has no impact trip, just friction bolt tension. Uses the same mount hole pattern as the HDSI transducer.

For a transom mount I used a spring back bracket

I used the Transducer Shield and saver. If you need to email them with your boat, Jack plate info and they can tell you what to buy. With the Transducer shield and saver you never have to worry about getting the correct angle on your transducer as they have already got it set right for your boat.
