here's my version

1 - yellow onion
1 - Red Bell Pepper
4 - Jalapeno's
1 - small jar pamento's
6- Celery stalks

place all but the pamento's in a blender and blend it up. Then with a strainer, strain all the water out ( as much as you can ). Best to let the MIX sit in the frig for a few hours. Then mix with 1 jar Miracle Whip and 3 crushed rolls of Ritz crackers. Add the pamento's and stir it up. Let sit in the frig for a few hours. Makes a bunch.

I've got a couple of different recipe's for it, some with boiled eggs, worchester, but above is pretty close and easy to make.

here's off the Web:

King's Inn Tartar Sauce

1-1/2 cups salad dressing
1/2 cup mayonaise
Jalepeno peppers to taste
4 boiled eggs, shredded
pimentos
1/4 of 1 stack of crackers, crushed
2 ounces bell pepper, shredded
2 stalks celery, shredded
2 ounces garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worestershire sauce

Mix all ingredients and chill. Great with fried fish or shrimp.
A South Texas favorite.
