Chicken Fajita Nachos

Chicken Fajita Nachos - 10/17/22 02:26 PM

I never eat nachos @ a restaurant. I like making my own from scratch, starting with homemade chips. I like the HEB refried charro beans best. I marinate chicken breast with fajita seasoning and my own concoction of other seasoning's then I cut into strips and cook in a frying pan for about 3 minutes. I top with grated (PLEASE.......Do Not use the store bought grated cheese) sharp cheddar cheese and bake for about 25-30 minutes. It goes great with guacamole. My wife likes them with sour cream, but I`m not a fan.
Bon Appetit

Looks good.

That's a long way from most nacho's I get today. I call em "Wash Tub" Nacho's. Dump chips on a foil lined cookie sheet, dump on additives, bake and grab a fork. laugh

I like fajta nachos. I usually add some thinned out refried beans and queso. .just pile it up and top with grated cheese.
