Buy getting a Schrade Diamond Dust SCHDDS SHARPENING ROD.......under $10.00
I ordered one for my Dexter 12'' serrated slicer. Glad you brought that up. Been putting it off to long.

Got mine yesterday.

Look it up Block sharpener.
They will sharpen any blade,

The Sharpening Rod (above) is like a Round File but coated in diamond dust. Imagine sharpening a chain on a chain saw with a round file. This is the same technique. Ebay has these Schrade Diamond Dust Rods.....under $10.

I have one of the schrade pocket rods mentioned, those are kinda rough 180 - 200 grit. It's ok for hooks and work knives.
I would suggest a finer grit for that type blade
