Cooler Corn

I heard someone mention Cooler Corn,Do any of you know what it is and how it's cooked?

I believe you put boiling water in an ice chest with your corn in it, close lid and wait, I don't know how long.

Might be talking about Elote. Canned corn in a cooler dished out into Styrofoam cups with mayo,parmesan cheese and chili powder

About 30 minutes.

Here’s the caveat.

You shouldn’t boil water in plastic unless it’s marked ‘microwave safe’. So a regular poor boy cooler is not approved for cooler corn. Yeti types might be approved.

Just how many coolers are marked ‘microwave safe’?

Put a couple of crab boil bags in the boiling water add the corn close the lid and sit on it and drink 3 beers and it’s ready
