Wire Rack Info Help... - 02/20/18 09:44 PM

Before I buy these, I need to know if anyone ever used these things in small DIY made smokehouse.....I'm looking at the "Rubbermaid Tightmesh White Wire Shelving". I know these are coated wire racks but will this shelving hold up to the heat approx 170*-250*....Melting that is? I really need plain heavy wire mesh. Trying to locate the diamond mesh material.

What you want is expanded metal (diamond grid you mentioned). If you have access to a metal fabrication, welding, or even ornamental iron shop, you should be able to find it.
