Just because our memories are short.
Four to six months from now there's going to be a ton of motors and equipment for sale. Less than honorable people will purchase salvage from insurance companies and try to resale. I'm not saying they'll all be junk but there's going to be a lot of junk for sale. Be cautious.

After it goes under water, particularly salt water, the damage is done, especially to the electrical systems. The problems may not surface immediately, but be assured they will surface. We make a lot of money here on Travis on boats that have just been in the salt, let alone gone under.
I'm wondering if the insurance companies report boats as salvage to Parks & Wildlife like is done with vehicles that have been under water.

Yes sir......

I remember Katrina and all the electrical issues I was paid to fix on cars. There were a LOT of low mileage cream puffs that were rusting from the inside out.
