My 2006 Minnkota Fortrex makes popping sounds,when changing direction on 3 or 4...Any ideas on how to fix?

not much you can do to fix it.
the popping sound is coming from the bracket/spring on the front
of the mount.
it will have to be replaced.
might try some spray silicone lube where the white spacer is at.
